Undoubtly, it is the basic obligation for every reader to make a meaningful reply or feedback to the postings.
Why? Just think if it is your job fininshed, no matter it is an office job, a house work job, a clearner job, a gardener's job, a rennovation job, a husband's duties, a wife's duties and children's duties, the writer or novelists' writings or stories, all these will have one single and common expection - a compliment or at least some feedbacks. They will feel very disappointed and defeated if their efforts and endevours have not been noticed, recieved, appreciated and commented. What is the point of going to doing so? They will ask.
It is the feedback or complitments which are the encouragement and the driving force to motivate the writers to keep on writing. Some readers feel unhappy about some stoies suddenly stop all a sudden without any reasonable closing chapters. They grumble and keep on pushing the writers to give them the rest of the stories.
Unfortunately, most of these readers have faled to understand the pain, time and efforts of the writers in writing a story, especially a lengthy novel. Unless you are a very experienced writer with high Chinese literay knowledge, it is sometimes a torture to the writers to dig out new ideas to continue writing the stories.
But if these writers find their stories receive a negative response, such as only picking out the mistakes in their writings, very harsh critism of their writings, they will definitely feel dejected and think whether it is of any value to keep on writing.
Furthermore, these writers are writing for the public entertainment, not for any sort of financial returns. Unlike some famouse and popular big writers whose writings have been included by the publishers who pay them some reasonable money, these writers receive simply nothing. Their main purpose is only to post writngs to support SIS so as to make this website's contents become richer and more popular. If even such a simple purpose is not appreciated and valued, they will think since they are not taken seriously, they will consider to retreat and stop writing any more.
We must understand that "Rome was not built in one day". If we do not give room and allowance to these writers, we will suffocate their interests and motivations to learn to become a more mature writer. So for God's sake, do not simply pick out the mistakes made by the writer. Even if you do so, try to give some sort of encouragements and some comments as a sign of support. Time by time, these writers will gradually become more mature and we can expect some more mature writers writing more entertainging adult novels in the coming future.
To conclude, it is our obligations to support the writers or posters for every posting so as to motivate their interests in keeping on writings and postings.
Here are some suggestions about the postings:
It is wonderful we have a very braod collection of novels which are very popular on the websites. This is very rarely seen in the other websites. But if all the collections can be divicified into different volums, such as the colum for Wu Shei, the colum for Incest and Adultery, the colum for Extreme Sex, it will be much welcome as the readers can go to the particular colum immediately without searching page by page. Besides, if it is possible, the classified colum can be arranged in sequence of dates and number of chapters. We sometimes find it difficult to locate the sequence of one story because it has been scattered in different pages.
I understand this may cause a lot of efforts for the administrators to to so. If it is too troublesome, then simply forget them. This is only my personal idea.
